The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Friday.

June 18

  • Shoplifting — homeless
  • Simple assault and petit larceny — 2427 4th Ave. Apt. 5B, Meridian
  • Shoplifting — 105 St. Francis Dr. Apt. 10, Philadelphia

June 19

  • DUI other and possession of marijuana — 4112 19th St., Meridian
  • Domestic violence and disorderly conduct — homeless

The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Wednesday through Friday.

June 18

  • Robbery — 1400 block of 10th Street at 3:57 p.m.
  • Residential burglary — 5000 block of 21st Street at 9:58 a.m.

June 19

  • Stolen vehicle — 2700 block of Southern Way Boulevard at 10:28 a.m.

June 20

  • Stolen vehicle — 1100 block of Highway 39 North at 1:47 p.m.
  • Shooting — 2100 block of 13th Avenue at 5 p.m.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Thursday and 6 a.m. Friday.

June 19

  • Foreign warrant; fugitive; holding and parole violation
  • Murder
  • DUI
  • DUI
  • Failure to pay
  • Failure to pay
  • Controlled substance-possession with intent to sell, transfer, distribute
  • Probation volation
  • Lighting equipment requirements, driving with a suspended/revoked driver’s license and failure to maintain liability insurance
