Meridian’s Austin Davis has been named assistant vice president at Community Bank, CEO of Community Bank’s Pine Belt Region Scott Pickering announced in a news release.

Davis, who has been in the banking industry for a year, recently worked as a loan officer. In his new position, he will continue working in the Meridian area to develop and manage his loan and deposit portfolio, the news release said.

A graduate of the University of Souther Mississippi with a bachelor’s in business administration, Davis plans to further his education this fall with plans to attend The Mississippi School of Banking at the University of Mississippi.
