Residents are asked to avoid North Hills Street in the evening hours this week as project to install permanent striping will be underway.

Assistant Public Works Director Mike Van Zandt said workers will begin at 6 p.m. and end at 5 a.m. the following day. The project is expected to last until Thursday morning unless otherwise delayed.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.

“Otherwise, drive cautiously, and watch for flagmen,” Van Zandt said. “Your cooperation is appreciated.”
