Brand, a former Miss Mississippi, gained even more fame as a contestant on Season 23 of NBC’s popular singing competition show after her blind audition performance of country artist Faith Hill’s “Mississippi Girl” wowed the judges. She continued to impress the judges on “The Voice,”making it to the Top 8 live semifinals as a member of Team Kelly before being eliminated.

Prior to her time on “The Voice,” Brand earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama and served as Miss Mississippi 2021. She currently lives in Nashville, where she is pursuing a career as a full-time musician.

On April 16, she will sing and share her testimony with the audience at Christ United Jackson.

Proceeds from the event will go to benefit Christ United’s local and global Mission Partners, including Stewpot, Methodist Children’s Home, Hope House, Shower Power, We Will Go, CUJXN Food Pantry, Rice & Beans, One Mission, God’s Children Ministry-Kenya, Project Break Thru, Mustard Seed and Missionaries: Greg and Shirley Carlson, Fred Curry, Emily Smith and Sammy Mwai.

Tickets are $30 and are required for admission. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit the church’s website at christunitedjxn.org/events.
