Lady Wildcats look for first district win against Petal

The Meridian High School Wildcats Softball team will head south Tuesday to take on Petal in district play at 6:30 p.m.
The Lady Wildcats are 8-5 in the season having split two weekend games with a 6-1 win against Scott Central and a crushing 11-0 loss against Sebastopol.
The team heads into Tuesday’s game with an 0-2 record in District 7A Region 3 play having dropped games against Brandon and Oak Grove last week.
