Dumont Plaza in downtown Meridian was transformed into a nine-hole miniature golf course Friday as Meridian and Lauderdale County residents golfed their way into the weekend at Putt-Putt Palooza.

The event offered both fun and some friendly competition as teams competed in a tournament for a variety of prizes.

In addition to the golf course, Putt-Putt Palooza also featured music, drinks and an opportunity to have a good time.
