Class of 2023 Top 20 Under 40 honored in Meridian

Twenty of the area’s movers and shakers were recognized for their commitment to the community during a reception Tuesday evening at The Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience in Meridian.

Sponsored by Mississippi Power through a partnership with The Meridian Star and Meridian Life magazine, Top 20 Under 40 recognizes local men and women who represent the area’s new generation of leaders.

From medical professionals to military members to business owners, this year’s Top 20 under 40 honorees come from all walks of life and from every sector, including education, business, health care, military, nonprofits, government, finance, the arts and professional services.

Some are actively involved in organizations and programs dedicated to improving the community, while others choose to serve where they see a need.

“These men and women are proving themselves not only professionally in their careers but also through their commitment, volunteerism and support of the community,” said Glenda Sanders, editor of Meridian Life magazine. “We are pleased to partner with Mississippi Power to recognize them for their dedication and work to propel our community forward.”

The Top 20 Under 40 Class of 2023 includes Baylee Bible; Dr. Matthew Coker; Dan Confait; Katie Gough; Calvin Green; Travis Haygood; Brandy Hill; Daniel Houze; Christopher Jaeger; Britney Kersh; Melissa McGlawn; Steven Miller; Hunter Morgan; Destiny Redmond; Caroline Rush; Dr. Usman Salahuddin; Dr. Kenneth Saul; Kimberly Shirley; Kelli Wallace; and Elizabeth Williams.
