Manny and Melanie Mitchell were all smiles as Mitchell Distributing celebrated their 75th anniversary Thursday in conjunction with the EMBDC’s Business After Hours. The company, which was started by brothers Mann and Bilbo Mitchell in the 1940s, donated more than $35,000 Thursday to the Jimmie Rodgers Foundation from money raised by Bud N Boilin’ crawfish cookoff last Saturday.
