Both the north and south bound lanes of Interstate I-59 are open after being closed due to smoke from a prescribed burn, LEMA officials said. 

Due to the weather, the smoke did not lift off the surface and has covered I-59, causing it to be shut down form North Enterprise to the I-59/I-20 split.
