A Meridian man faces drug charges after a lengthy investigation by the Meridian Police Department and federal authorities.

William Robert Ianne was arrested and charged with felony sale of a controlled substance, MPD Police Chief Chris Read said.

The arrest was the result of an investigation by the MPD special operations unit and federal authorities, Reed said.
