Caroline Wheeler Prewitt and Jalyssiah Chanel Ott were named the 2021 Distinguished Young Women of West Lauderdale County and East Lauderdale County, respectively, during the program held Saturday at the MSU Riley Center in Meridian.

Both are students at Lamar School. Prewitt is the daughter of Kendrick and Lindsey Prewitt and Ott is the daughter of Lashonda Nicole Boddie.
