The East Mississippi Community College Police Department is searching for a missing student, William Scott Felks.

Felks was last seen on the Golden Triangle Campus departing the library on Dec. 4, at 4:17 p.m.

Based on information obtained during an investigation, the East Mississippi Community College Police Department believes Felks, 17, was picked up at the college by someone he knows and is likely still with that person.

Felks, who is approximately 5’7 and 162 pounds, was last seen wearing a gray sweater and black pants. He was carrying a white backpack. Anyone who has seen Felks or has information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the EMCC Police Department at 662.418.9487 or 662.386.3011.

EMCC police have reclassified the case as that of a runaway. The investigation is ongoing.
