Lauderdale County authorities arrest man for setting vacant mobile home on fire

Lauderdale County authorities have arrested a man for allegedly setting a vacant mobile home on fire.
James Ray Williams Jr., 23, of Meridian was charged with arson, said Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy Ward Calhoun.
Williams set a vacant mobile home on Old Wire Road on fire on Oct. 4, Calhoun said.
Williams posted bail and the case will be heard by the next available grand jury, Calhoun said.
