Authorities have arrested a third suspect in connection with a May 14 shooting death.

Montrel Corvata Ruttley, 24, of Meridian was arrested Monday in Meridian, MPD Capt. John Griffith said.

Ruttley is the third and final suspect sought in the shooting death of Jadarrious Lewis which occurred near 34th Avenue and 22nd Street in Meridian.

Police said the shooting was the result of an ongoing dispute between the men and it appeared that Lewis was targeted and ambushed.

Two other suspects in the case, Kenny Hopson, 21, and Mario Craig, 23, were arrested in late May and have since had their preliminary hearings.
