Suicide is not the answer
Hello my name is EllaFaith Joyner, and I need the city’s help with suicide prevention.
Everyday we end up losing someone we know or love to suicide. But we can prevent people from taking their own lives. The time is now Mississippi to stand up and reach out to people that need our help.
Suicide is serious so very serious. Believe me, I tried to commit suicide once when I was 14. I was going through some trouble, depression and anxiety. It took me getting sent from place to place to figure out the truth. The truth is there is no reason to take your own life.
Think about how your family, friends or even your own kids would feel if you took your own life. I’m 17 years old now and I want to reach out to people that need help and guidance. There is only one problem I NEED YOUR HELP MISSISSIPPI!

District 84: Keep a good man in office
Thomas Jefferson, our third president, stated, “The care of human life and happiness, and not their destruction, is the first and only object of good government.”
On Jan. 22, Operation Save America commemorated the 46th year anniversary of the infamous Roe vs. Wade at the state Capitol in Jackson. The message was clear. Roe vs. Wade replaced our national covenant of life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness with a covenant of death. This covenant of death has produced a culture of death savaging our nation.
How does Mississippi end this holocaust and established justice for the preborn? The state must do its duty before God. Mississippi must interpose on the state level by ignoring Roe, establishing justice, and outlawing abortion altogether. Abortion was not, is not, and never will be a Constitutional right, but a brutal crime that needs to be penalized by law.
While this message went forth, there was a man who stood with us principally on the platform. His name is Rep. William Shirley. He currently serves Mississippi House District 84. He is not a typical politician, but a godly statesman who knows his duty before God and the constituents he serves, which includes every preborn Mississippian. He believes what Thomas Jefferson articulated is the chief end of government, the protection of innocent life and to stop the shedding of innocent blood.
On Aug. 6, there will be a primary vote and the general election is scheduled for Nov. 5. Operation Save America heartily endorses Rep. Shirley and his re-election bid. We encourage the citizens in District 84 to pray for him, support his candidacy with their time, talent, and treasure and vote for him on August 6th and Nov. 5.
