Thursday, April 18

• 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. – Bring a friend (and your lunch) to The MAX Courtyard for April’s Brown Bag Lunch concert featuring Tupelo vocalist/guitarist Josh Resonet. Free and open to the public.

• 11:30 a.m. – The Lauderdale County Republican Women will hold their monthly meeting on the second floor of Weidmann’s. The guest speaker this month will be State Treasurer Lynn Fitch. This month the Clarke County Republican Women and Lauderdale County Republican Women will hold a joint meeting.

• 11:30 a.m. – Joe Hudson’s Collision Center will celebrate its grand opening with a ribbon cutting, 3020 Hwy. 39N.

• 4:30 p.m. – K-6th Grade Peanuts Easter Tote at the Meridian-Lauderdale County Public Library. Genealogy meets 2-3 p.m.

• 6 p.m. – The International Singing Brakeman Association (TISBA) Hospitality Night will be at The Red Roof Inn, Suite B, located at 2219 South Frontage Rd. Please bring a dish to share. We will eat at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $5 per person. FMI: Glyn Jones, 601-581-1601.

• 6:15-10 p.m. – Bike Night Out to Squealers BBQ. Live music by Scott McQuaig and The Tomcats. Appetizers and drink specials available, along with door prizes. • 6:30 p.m. – The Highland Baptist Neighborhood Watch Group will meet at Highland Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 3400 27th St. (open meeting). Meets monthly the 3rd Thursday of the month.

• 7 p.m. – First Christian Church, 1301 23rd Ave., will present The Living Last Supper. It will be an evening of dramatic re-enactment, music, worship, prayer and Holy Communion. FMI: 601-693-1425.

Friday, April 19

• 7-8:30 a.m. – The Fellowship of Christian Athletes will hold its second annual Jackie Slay Breakfast of Champions on Good Friday at the MCC Tommy E. Dulaney Center.
