Three people were taken to a local hospital after a motor vehicle accident Thursday morning in Meridian. 

Two vehicles were involved in the accident around 8:15 a.m. in front of Mr. Rodgers Hamburgers on 23rd Avenue and 13th Street, causing one of vehicles to roll over, Meridian Police Capt. John Griffith said.

The female driver of a Chevy truck that rolled over was taken to a local hospital by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries, Griffith said. A woman and child who were occupants of the other vehicle were also taken to a hospital, Griffith said.

The vehicles collided at the intersection. Griffith could not say which vehicle caused the accident, but he said speed was not a factor. Neither driver will be charged, Griffith said.
