The Community Foundation of East Mississippi and Clarke County Chamber of Commerce announced the establishment of an endowment fund as a community affiliate of the Community Foundation. 

The Clarke County Foundation for Tomorrow will “help build community strengths and serve as a steward of community assets,” according to a news release from the Community Foundation.

The Clarke County Foundation will provide grants for education, charitable organizations and governmental institutions with the aim of improving the quality of life in Clarke County.

The Community Foundation encourages the public to make a tax-deductible contribution to the new foundation by visiting CFEM.org or mailing a check to CFEM at P.O. BOx 865, Meridian MS 39302.
