Around 11:45 p.m. Saturday, the sheriff’s department responded to the armed robbery, which took place as two store employees were closing the store, Sollie said.

Two male suspects came into the store with guns and demanded to see the store’s safe, Sollie said. The two men then took an undisclosed amount of money from the safe before leaving the store by foot.

Sollie asks anyone with information about the crime to call the East Mississippi Crimestoppers at 1-855-485-TIPS.
