West Lauderdale rides big innings past Northeast Lauderdale

Two six-run innings propelled West Lauderdale to a 12-0 victory against Northeast Lauderdale Tuesday night.

West Lauderdale batters combined for eight hits, and Northeast Lauderdale was held to just three.
Two Knight players finished with multi-hit efforts. Ben Ethridge went 2-for-3 while Cole Boswell was 2-for-2. Braden Luke tallied a team-high three RBIs. Kameron Partridge and Ethridge each plated two runners.
Austin Davidson, Luke and Partridge swatted doubles.
Ethridge went the distance on the mound to earn the pitching win, as he struck out 13 Northeast Lauderdale batters and didn’t yield any walks.
Northeast Lauderdale’s Ben Carpenter, Landon Harper and Houston Wedgeworth provided the Trojans with their three hits.
West Lauderdale led 6-0 at the end of the second inning and tacked on six additional runs in the third.
