Several area athletes were selected to participate in the Mississippi Association of Coaches’ All-Star fast-pitch softball game, which will take place May 31-June 1 at Jones College in Ellisville.

Enterprise’s Faith Guy and Choctaw Central’s Tia’Rain Saunders will represent the Class 1-3A South team. Newton County’s Lizzy Hollingsworth will represent the Class 4-6A South team.

Game time is scheduled for 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on May 31, and 10 a.m. and noon on June 1.
