In this “Crossfit meets Combat,” competitors will race in combat gear, climb obstacles, lift and shoot from unconventional positions.

“The Tactical Games is designed to test operational athletes throughout the continuum of combat-related tasks, while under time constraints and under physical duress,” a press release said. “It is one thing to shoot a target with a pistol at 50 years. It is quite different and exponentially more difficult to shoot a target with a pistol at 50 yards after running a mile, dragging a 95 lb sled for a distance, carrying a Husafel Stone (and) climbing a rope.”
Competitions will be offered for both men and women. Admission for spectators is free and vendors will be selling food and merchandise.
