The production required six men and four women and according to MLT Director Ellie Massey, the cast includes “some fresh faces and a few returning stars to the MLT stage.”

Stepping in to take charge of this production is Zena Limerick, guest director. This will be the third production for Limerick as director. He took the helm in 2017 for “The Odd Couple,” and in 2018 for “Barefoot In The Park,” both Neil Simon standards.

“4 Weddings and an Elvis,” tells the hilarious story of Las Vegas wedding chapel owner Sandy (played by Donna P. Colburn), whose own love life reads like a soap opera. Four times married, three times divorced, Sandy has seen it all — and then some.

The play will take the audience through the matrimonies of Stan and Bev (played by Keith Farmer and Emily Thompson), who are getting married as revenge on their exes. The couple’s minister is John (played by Tyler Culpepper), who acts, looks, speaks and sings just like Elvis.

Bryce and Vanessa (played by Frank Coleman and Sharon Burt) are two arrogant, aging stars who are tying the knot as a publicity ploy. The minister for their wedding is Lou (played by Chris Edwards), who has married all the “really big stars.”

Martin and Fiona (played by Jason Clayton and Connie Bishop) are a gentle postal worker and a tough ex-con who couldn’t be more in love. And this is when we meet Fist (played by Brandon Harper) Fiona’s ex!

The fourth and final wedding is the most heart-warming of all — and a complete surprise.

“Yes, What happens in Vegas … is hilarious!” Massey said.
