The Meridian Community College baseball team is ranked No. 4 in the preseason 2019 NJCAA Division II Baseball rankings. The Eagles are returning multiple starters and are looking to build on a successful 2018 season. 

The 2018 Eagles were Region 23 runners up and finished with a 39-13 record.

“It’s a great honor and exciting for our players and program to be ranked so highly in the preseason polls,” head coach Dillon Sudduth said. “We will just use this as motivation to continue working hard and to accomplish our goal of finishing the season ranked No. 1.”

The Eagles’ season begins Feb. 11 at Spring Hill in Mobile, Alabama. The Eagles will play their first home game of the season Feb. 16 against Jefferson College.
