Lauderdale County South volunteer firefighters responded to a mobile home fire on the 2700 block of Valley Road around 9:15 a.m. Tuesday. 

Allan Dover, the Lauderdale County fire coordinator, reported no injuries and said that the kitchen had been badly damaged. The rest of home sustained smoke damage. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
