Jeff McManus

Jeff McManus, author of ‘Pruning Like a Pro’ and ‘Growing Weeders into Leaders,’ will visit the Northwood Country Club to give a motivational talk about becoming a greener, cleaner and safer community.

McManus, an arborist at the University of Mississippi, will speak at a luncheon at noon Thursday, Jan. 17, and have books for sale at the event.

As the director of landscape services for the university, McManus bears the responsibility for keeping up the campus appearance and writes about creating a welcoming community that has attracted many students to matriculate with Ole Miss.

With seating limited, attendees are required to RSVP by calling or texting (601) 917-4344 and the $25 cover fee can be paid in check or cash upon arrival.
