Approximately 40 teachers from the Lauderdale County School District and Meridian Public School District were at the MSU Riley Center Tuesday for the “Acting Right” workshop, the first of three Teaching Artist Workshops sponsored by MSU-Meridian in collaboration with the John F. Kennedy Center and the MS 2007 Partners in Education. Kennedy Center teaching artist Jamin Carter shared with educators how drama can be used to help with classroom management explaining that behavior is a literacy that has to be taught.
