• Escaping custody – Eric D. Williams, born in 1991, 2020 18th St., Meridian. William is also charged with driving under the influence/first offense.

• Petit larceny – Dewayne Spears, born in 1964, 4503 Royal Road, Meridian.

• Shoplifting/two counts – Dennis Carroll, born in 1969, homeless.

• Petit larceny – Verashia McDyess, born in 1999, 626 21st St. Apt. 35, Meridian. McDyess is also charged with disorderly conduct.

• DUI/first other – Shondrea L. Ivy, born in 1999, 1801 24th St. K-2, Meridian. Ivy is also charged with possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle.

• DUI/first offense – Edward Brown, born in 1969, 6505 Stennis Road, Meridian.

• DUI/first other – Robert L. Fisher, born in 1984, 4423 Arundel Road, Meridian.

• Petit larceny – Lionel Townsend, born in 1998, 3112 5th St., Meridian.

• Shoplifting – Apryl Moulds, born in 1985, 1005 27th Ave., Meridian. Moulds is also charged with trespassing.

• Telephone harassment – Sherry Clark, born in 1964, 2016 25th Ave., Meridian.

• Disorderly conduct – Domanetrus Camper, born in 2000, 2202 22nd Ave., Meridian. Camper is also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a child.

• Disorderly conduct – Robert Dalton, born in 1973, 2728 Front St., Meridian.

• Meridian Police responded to 10 shots fired calls but when officers arrived on the scene, there was not any evidence found to support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Friday and 8:43 a.m. Tuesday.

• Suspended driver’s license – Holly Bentley, 34, 2191 Long Creek Road, Meridian. Bentley is also charged with improper equipment, compulsory school attendance.

• Child support/failure to pay – Donald Eric Butchee, 47, 2513 45th Ave., Meridian.

• Possession of marijuana in the vehicle – Jennifer Sade Butchee, 22, 1102 45th Ave., Meridian.

• Burglary-dwelling house – Shalanda S. Carter, 33, 1886 CR 662, Waynesboro.

• Driving under the influence/second offense – Christopher Zanthony Clark, 31, 4220 22nd St., Meridian. Clark is also charged with running a stop sign, no driver’s license, possession of marijuana/first offense.

• Possession of stolen property – Jessica Lynn Dixon, 34, 530 Union Ave., Crescent City, Fla.

• DUI/first offense – Tonya Rena Dixon, 43, 302 3rd Ave., Cuba, Ala. Dixon is also charged with expired tag, no liability insurance, no driver’s license.

• Suspended driver’s license – John Paul Fox Jr., 47, 5402 CR 320, Enterprise. Fox is also charged with seat belt violation, no liability insurance.

• Running a stop sign – Montrell Harrington, 29, 6510 North Hills St., Meridian. Harrington is also charged with suspended driver’s license, seat belt violation.

• Suspended driver’s license – Bobby Joseph Johnson, 32, 2200 28th Ave., Meridian. Johnson is also charged with improper equipment, no liability insurance.

• Simple assault/attempt to create fear – William Bradley Johnson, 33, 5990 Graham Cemetery Rd., Meridian. Johnson is also charged with simple assault.

• Suspended driver’s license – Chasity Lee, 42, 7113 US Hwy. 431, Alexandria, Ala. Lee is also charged with no license tag.

• Sale of methamphetamine/three counts – Marvin Duane Naylor, 47, 4383 Leroy Naylor Road, Lauderdale. Naylor is also charged with possession of drugs while in possession of a firearm, receiving stolen property.

• Possession of marijuana – Darminic Alajawann Overstreet, 21, 938 Jeff Davis School Road, Meridian. Overstreet is also charged with improper equipment, expired tag, no liability insurance, no driver’s license.

• Possession of marijuana in the vehicle – Jason Alexander Owens, 38, 958 Ira St., Atlanta, Ga. Owens is also charged with seat belt violation, no driver’s license, insurance card law in the vehicle.

• Armed robbery – Jawon Lavon Ramsey, 28, 2524 Grandview Ave., Meridian. Ramsey is also charged with probation violation/parole, shooting into a vehicle, felon in possession of a firearm.

• No driver’s license – Michael James Ramsey, 33, 200 23rd St. 87, Meridian. Ramsey is also charged with insurance card law in vehicle, seat belt violation.

• DUI/of other substance – Alex Sims, 18, 1616 17th St., Meridian. Sims is also charged with no license tag, no driver’s license, careless driving, no liability insurance.

• DUI/first offense – Christopher Lane Smith, 33, 1210 N. Lakely Drive, Meridian. Smith is also charged with expired tag, improper equipment, suspended driver’s license, no liability insurance.
