Newton County High School in Decatur will host several spooky events just in time for Halloween.

The extracurricular activity booster clubs will host the Fear Factory Haunted House at the old Peavey factory in Decatur next to Newton County High School. The event will take place from 7 – 10 p.m on Saturday, Oct. 27 and Tuesday, Oct. 30.

The event will include a haunted forest, haunted funeral home, jail scenes, graveyards, an insane asylum, butcher shops and more. Admission is $10 and tickets will be sold at the door. Students and booster club partners will be working the booths during the event.

The school will also host its second annual Treat Street from 5:30 – 8 p.m. on Oct. 30 at the high school’s baseball field with carnival games, dunking booths and concessions. Admission is $5 for those wanting candy and $1 for playing games.
