Trucks travel too fast on Kewanee Road

There is no excuse for dump trucks passing on Kewanee Road in Lauderdale County, which has been made slippery by new gravel. Something needs to be done. Caution should be used.

Some children were hurt recently gravel rocks were kicked up by trucks on the road. It made a little girl cry.

Rocks are also slung up on the edge of residents’ front yards by passing trucks.  And log trucks, also, go fast on our road, especially on curves. Someone would get hurt.

Speed zones need to be posted more throughout Kewanee Road. Please use caution.
