Catholic Charities presents ‘An Evening with Jim Caviezel’ in Jackson

Jim Caviezel is known to television and movie fans for his roles in movies such as “The Count of Monte Cristo,” “Frequency” and “Person of Interest.”
Among Christian audiences, though, he is best known for his portrayal of Jesus in Mel Gibson’s 2004 film “The Passion of the Christ.” And, in 2018 he took on the biblical role as Saint Luke in “Paul, Apostle of Christ.”
The actor, producer, philanthropist and Christian will join fans at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7 at Thalia Mara Hall in Jackson for an evening of reflection on his career, his faith and his passions to support the programs of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Jackson.
“For any person, Christian or fan of the Passion or Jim’s other films, they are in for a treat,” John Lunardini, chief operating officer at Catholic Charities said. “We are even more excited to bring his message to people of all faiths and denominations.”
Services at Catholic Charities are for all people in need and this event is for all Mississippi Christians, he added.
Sponsors and VIP ticket holders will have access to the pre-show meet and greet with Caviezel.
Tickets are available through Ticketmaster online and in person at the box office. Ticket prices range from $100 to $25 and group discounts are available.
