Myers said that around 5:30 p.m. police received calls about a shooting at a CEFCO, located at 1534 Highway 16 West.
Using witness statements, police found Jackson, born in 1988, at a nearby hotel shortly after, Myers said.
One male victim’s body was found in the parking lot and a second female victim, who worked at the CEFCO, was found inside, Myers said.
Myers said a third victim suffered injuries, drove himself to an emergency room for treatment and has since been released.
A bystander shot Jackson at the scene and Jackson is now seeking treatment at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, Myers said.
Myers said police were not releasing a motive until Monday and formal charges would be released soon after.
