- Nominees sought for 2018 class of Top twenty under 40
In June 2016, Meridian Home & Style Magazine introduced its first class of Top twenty under 40 honorees — 20 residents from the Meridian area under age 40 who are making an impact professionally, but more importantly contributing the betterment of the community.
This includes people from every sector: education, business, healthcare, professional services, real estate, government, finance, law, military, nonprofits and other areas. These individuals represent Meridian’s emerging leaders and its “movers and shakers.”
Everyone knows someone of this caliber.
It could be the social worker who not only goes the extra mile in helping clients, but also spends their weekends working with youth or helping out at the local soup kitchen.
Or, the young executive who is first in the office and last to leave at the end of the day. But who also conducts Bible classes during the week at a local nursing home or helps adults in his church learn to read.
Maybe it’s the military recruiter who enthusiastically encourages young men and women to join the armed forces, but who also has organized a group of mentors dedicated to equipping the area’s youth with life skills such as how to balance a checkbook or how to dress for a job interview.
Do any of these examples bring someone to mind?
