Meridian Police Department
The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Thursday:
• Murder – Kenmonte Wooten, 17, 2525 36th St., Meridian. Wooten is also charged with a drive-by shooting.
• Burglary/dwelling house – Deion Rashawn Cole-Betts, 22, 3117 Dale Savell Drive, Meridian. Cole-Betts is also charged with probation violation/parole.
• Probation violation/parole – Barbie Lee Ivy, 30, 413 9th Ave., Meridian.
• Burglary/dwelling house – Timothy Lavon Jordan, 26, 6545 North Hills St., Meridian.
• Willful trespassing – Arnold Brown, born in 1967, 4702 Royal Road, Meridian. Brown is also charged with domestic violence/two counts.
• Disorderly conduct – Lavell McClelland, born in 1979, 1024 19th St., Meridian.
• Domestic violence – Kendrick D. Martin, born in 1978, 104 Mallard Road, Apt. 147 Sulphur Springs, Ark.
• Domestic violence – Mary Martin, born in 1980, 1148 D. Sandflat Road, Meridian.
• Domestic violence – Quanmarcus P. Munn, born in 1988, 3180 E. Cook Road, Lauderdale.
Incident Reports
The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Wednesday to Thursday:
Auto burglary
• 4000 block of 31st Ave. at 6:40 a.m.
• Meridian Police responded to 7 shots fired calls but when officers arrived on scene there was not any evidence found to support the calls.
Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department
The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Wednesday and 8:43 a.m. Thursday.
• Driving under the influence/first offense – Timothy S. Edwards, 24, 211 North Hills St., Meridian. Edwards is also charged with improper equipment, no driver’s license, child endangerment.
• Burglary/commercial bldg. – Justin Tyler Granieri, 30, 4718 CA Pickard Road, Meridian.
• Contempt/child support – Joseph Daniel Reynolds, 38, homeless.
• No driver’s license – Damontae L. Rush, 20, 2610 Highland Ave., Meridian. Rush is also charged with running a stop sign, no liability insurance.

• Shoplifting – Jared B. Ricks, 25, 1330 Katlyen Grace Drive, Meridian.
