Smith, of 3406 35th Ave., and Hall, of 2829 32nd Ave., have been charged with aggravated assault, shooting into a dwelling and shooting into a vehicle, Meridian police said.

Miller suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and was taken via personal vehicle to a local hospital before police arrived.

Police stopped a vehicle they believed was involved in the shooting, detaining four people for questioning and releasing each person.

Meridian Sgt. Dareall Thompson said more details about the case would be released following a preliminary hearing at noon Thursday.

“We do expect more arrests coming out of this event,” Thompson said. “Some cases take a little longer because we want to make sure we have all of the information before we arrest them.”

Bond for each suspect has been set at $250,000 for all three charges for a total of $750,000 each, Thompson said.
