Meridian Police Department

The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday:

• Simple assault/two counts – Steven Manis, born in 1991, 13038 A McMullan Road, Collinsville.

• Uttering/forgery – Rhonda King, born in 1966, 5916 Hwy. 145S, Meridian. King is also charged with embezzlement, receiving stolen property/two counts.

• Telephone harassment – Thomas Grayson, born in 1998, 1773 Bunk Newell Road, Meridian.

• Willful trespassing – Jeffery Sims, born in 1979, 507 CR 514, Meridian. Sims is also charged with public drunk.

• Public drunk – Charles Maxie, born in 1968, homeless.

• False information – Dominique Abel, born in 1983, 506 Front St. Ext. 1-8, Meridian. Abel is also charged with false information, disorderly conduct, public profanity, public drunk, destroying public property.

• Simple assault – Sedrick D. Bohannon, born in 1985, 3639 10th Ave., Meridian.

The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Monday to Tuesday:

Auto burglary

• 2800 block of 25th St. at 6:30 a.m.

• 2300 block of North Frontage Road at 4:47 p.m.

• 1300 block of 19th St. at 4:53 a.m.

Shootings

• 2200 block of Mosby Rd. at 11:36 a.m.

• Meridian Police responded to 3 shots fired calls but when officers arrived on the scene, only 1 showed evidence to support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Monday and 8:43 a.m. Tuesday.

• Suspended driver’s license – Alisa Nicole McGlockin, 29, 15 McQueen Lane, Collins.

• Receiving stolen property – John David Rawlings, 52, homeless, Chunky.

• Probation violation/parole – John Henry Wallace, 52, 2704 Valley Road, Lot 33, Meridian.
