Changes to polling places include:

• Relocating the polling place for precinct 146 (New Lauderdale) to Northpark Church, 7770 Highway 39, Meridian.

• Relocating the polling place for precinct 206 (Velma Young) from the old Velma Young Center to the new Velma Young Center, 2400 16th Ave., Meridian.

• Relocating the polling place for precinct 238 (Marion) to the Hamasa Temple Shrine, 5516 Dale Drive, Marion.

• Temporarily relocating the polling place for precinct 530 (Clarkdale) from the New Hope Baptist Church to the Clarkdale Fire Station, 6934 MS 145, Meridian. The New Hope Baptist Church is undergoing renovations and will be unavailable for this year’s elections. Supervisors voted to relocate the Clarkdale polling place to the New Hope Baptist Church next year.

Two polling places will be merged from separate precincts to create a split polling place at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 4390 Valley Road, Meridian, which will cover both precinct 563 (Valley Road) and precinct 450 (Pickard).

Precinct 525 (Alamucha) will be absorbed into precinct 583 (Mount Gilead) with a polling place at Mount Gilead, 3456 KOA Campground Road, Meridian.

The boundary line for precinct 409 (Carousel Place) and precinct 412 (Council of Organizations) will be adjusted so that the boundary line now follows 45th Avenue to 5th Street and then continues along a creek south of 5th Street. Voters to the west of the boundary will vote in precinct 409 while voters to the east will vote in precinct 412.

The polling place for precinct 409 will change to the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 544 49th Avenue, Meridian.
