Meridian Police Department

The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday:

• Simple assault/threat – Jamian W. Williams, born in 1990, 9690 Hwy. 18W, Quitman.

• Trespassing – Kendasha McCarty, born in 1994, 2203 9th Ave., Meridian. McCarty is also charged with willful trespassing.

• Driving under the influence – Randell Horner, born in 1967, 2009 31st St., Meridian. Horner is also charged with possession of a controlled substance.

• Public drunk – Theron Donald, born in 1973, 1826 34th Ave., Meridian.

• DUI – Jacoby Toole, born in 1989, 3300 12th St., Meridian.

• Possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle – William H. Morris, born in 1955, 2622 18th St., Meridian.

Incident Reports

The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Monday:

• Meridian Police responded to one shot fired call but when officers arrived on the scene, there was not any evidence found to support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Monday and 8:43 a.m. Tuesday.

• Probation violation/parole – John Kyle Brogan, 37, 947 Hwy. 19S, Meridian.

• Failure to appear/four counts – Willie Dejuan Coleman, 33, 2326 34th Ave., Meridian. Coleman is also charged with probation violation/parole.

• No driver’s license – Dekoyus Jajuan Daniels, 25, 1502 5th St., Meridian.

• Burglary commercial bldg. – Joseph Alexander Gamblin, 40, 13236 Post County Line Road, Collinsville.

• Contempt of court – Sylvester Hopson, 52, 6215 15th Ave., Meridian.

• Cyberstalking – Mitchel Wayne Marshall, 37, 3819 Grandview Ave., Meridian.

• Suspended driver’s license – Kenya Tevinte Roberts, 26, 2006 MLK Drive B2, Meridian. Roberts is also charged with seat belt violation.

• Child pornography – Christopher Edward Scrimpshire, 20, 316 Branch Estates Road, Meridian.

Burglary

• 11900 block of Hwy. 494, Collinsville.

• 3400 block of Causeyville/Whynot, Meridian.

• 10900 block of Hwy. 80W B, Meridian.

Theft

• 5600 block of Rachel Lane, Meridian.
