Meridian Police Department
The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Thursday and 6 a.m. Friday:
• Felony/driving under the influence/fourth offense – Kenneth Earl Jackson, 44, 3729 South St. A, Meridian.
• Domestic violence – Danny Phillips, born in 1977, 801 B. St., Meridian.
• DUI/other – Joseph D. Durham, born in 1987, 5309 C Mini Farm Road, Meridian.
• Stalking – Erica Jimison, born in 1988, homeless. Jimison is also charged with telephone harassment.
• Trespassing – Vanoy F. Adams, born in 1994, 4314 20th St., Meridian.
• Simple assault – Wade Samuels, born in 1961, 2023 19th Ave., Meridian.
Incident Reports
The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Thursday to Friday:
Stolen vehicles
• 300 block of North Frontage Road at 1:46 p.m.
Auto burglary
• 2900 block of Saint Paul Street at 3:26 a.m.
Shootings
• 200 block of 55th Ave. at 6:20 p.m.
• Meridian Police responded to 7 shots fired calls but when officers arrived on scene there was not any evidence found to support the calls.
Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department
The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Thursday and 8:43 a.m. Friday.
• Possession of marijuana/first offense – Christy D. Eason, 36, 1319 Steven Blvd., Meridian. Eason is also charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle (joyriding).
• Probation violation/parole – Cortez Courtney Hassell, 37, 1159 Ross East 7 St., St. Paul Minn.
• Possession of cocaine – Danny L. Phillips, 41, 801 BST, Meridian.
• No driver’s license – Tenna Shardae Roberts, 24, 3512 31st St., Meridian.
