The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday:

• Burglary/home invasion, breaking and entering – Angela D. Williams, born in 1975, 5607 Cooper Circle, Meridian.

• Simple assault/threat – Shanice Sanders, born in 1993, 907 Fulton Ave., Meridian.

• Shoplifting – Steven Harris, born in 1969, 9085 Pine Springs Road, Meridian.

• Simple assault/threat/three counts – Jerome Earl, born in 1960, 308 5th Ave. S., Meridian.

• Driving under the influence/second offense – Hunter Mitchell, born in 1990, 12285 Schanberville Ln., Collinsville.

• Disturbance of a business – Sheiqnna Davis, born in 1991, 2015 Mosby Road Apt. J-5, Meridian.

• Shoplifting – Dishea Crowell, born in 1997, 4909 Shumate Road, Meridian. Crowell is also charged with trespassing.

• Simple assault – Karimah Jackson, born in 1998, 907 Fulton Ave., Meridian.

Commercial burglary

• 1900 block of 23rd Ave. at 8 a.m.

Residential burglary

• 1500 block of 47th Ave. at 2:45 p.m.

• Meridian Police responded to 2 shots fired calls but when officers arrived on scene there was not any evidence found to support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Tuesday and 8:43 a.m. Wednesday.

• Interfere with duties of police – Harley Destiney Baylis, 18, 651 Orange Drive, Laurel.

• Simple assault – Anthony L. Crockett, 26, 5168 Sumpter 27, Cuba, Ala.

• Driving under the influence/first offense – Jadarius Kejuan Edwards, 23, 791 Sookelena, Marion.

• Possession of drugs while in possession of a firearm – James Chase Griffith, 31, 5122 Windsor Road, Meridian.

• Conspiracy to armed robbery – Latrice Tarsha Hines, 39, 105 Carolina Ave., York, Ala.

• Trespassing – Dalton Paul McMullan, 18, 3604 Zero Road, Meridian. McMullan is also charged with trespassing, malicious mischief/vandalism.

• No driver’s license – Jasmine Monquie Phillips, 26, 9548 Hwy. 19 N., Collinsville. Phillips is also charged with failure to appear/two counts.

• Possession of methamphetamine – Kenneth Dondreyux Ratcliff, 23, 8548 King Road A, Meridian. Ratcliff is also charged with possession of drugs while in possession of a firearm/three counts, possession of marijuana, possession of amphetamine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

• DUI/first offense – Terry Alan Terral, 52, 3911 Old 8th St., Meridian.

• Burglary/dwelling house – Angela Denise Williams, 41, 5607 Cooper Circle, Meridian.

• Domestic violence – Brent Alexander Wright, 25, 9332 Blizzard Rd., Bailey.
