The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Monday:

• Fleeing or eluding in a motor vehicle – James Eric Duke, 29, 1029 N. 3rd Ave., Laurel.

• Simple assault – Barbara Versher, born in 1959, homeless. Versher is also charged with trespassing.

• Petit larceny – Gerode Gowdy, born in 1985, 51 Helveston Road, Apt. 65, Hattiesburg.

• Petit larceny – Jawan Ramsey, born in 1990, 2524 Grandview Ave., Meridian. Ramsey is also charged with disturbance of family.

• Domestic violence – Melvin Ramsey, born in 1984, 4510 Pacific St., Meridian.

• Simple assault – Barbara Versher, born in 1959, homeless.

• Driving under the influence/first offense – Charles King, born in 1971, 400 28th Ave. NW Centre Point, Ala.

• Public drunk – Harold Dubose, born in 1962, 301 6th Place, Meridian.

• DUI/second offense – Demarkio Gale, born in 1991, 2428 Old Marion Road, Meridian.

• Begging – Jeffrey McKinnis, born in 1967, 73 CR 2671, Shubuta. McKinnis is also charged with possession of paraphernalia.

• Public drunk – Emil A. Castignanie, born in 1984, 1110 Terry Ln. #25 De Pere, Wis. Castignanie is also charged with resisting arrest, public profanity, simple assault-threat, disorderly conduct.

• Malicious mischief – Briana Griffin, born in 1992, 1318 19th St., Meridian.

• Shoplifting – Christopher Price, born in 1992, homeless.

• Domestic violence – Willie Brown, born in 1961, 111 Golden Grove Circle, Piedmont. Brown is also charged with disorderly conduct.

• DUI/second offense – Tranisha Williams, born in 1997, 2011 26th Ave., Meridian. Williams is also charged with possession of marijuana, possession of controlled substance.

• DUI/first offense – Danielle Chambliss, born in 1995, 5010 1st. St., Meridian.

• Domestic violence – Veronica Cole, born in 1965, 3712 Royal Road, Meridian.

• Disorderly conduct – Dikirria Stewart, born in 1994, 3729 South St., Meridian. Stewart is also charged with interfering with police, possession of controlled substance.

• DUI/first offense, Laportia Littleton, born in 1992, 229 C St., Meridian.

• Public drunk – Timothy Davis, born in 1992, 1705 Old Marion Road, Meridian. Davis is also charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest.

• Possession of controlled substance – Lashannon Chaney, born in 1977, 5475 Charlie Dunn Rd., Meridian.

• Possession of controlled substance – Michael A. Coleman Jr., born in 1997, 5097 New Hope Rd., DeKalb.

Residential burglary

• 1600 block of 29th Ave. at 5:34 a.m.

• 3500 block of 36th St. at 2:59 p.m.

Shootings

• 100 block of Russell Drive at 11:48 a.m.

• Meridian Police responded to 11 shots fired calls but when officers arrived on scene there was not any evidence found to support the calls.

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Friday and 8:43 a.m. Monday.

• Escape-concealing/harboring – Ashley DeLain Abdulmogni, 37, 31 Campbell Drive, Seminary, Hattiesburg.

• Driving under the influence/first offense – Peyton Gray Adams, 20, 19 Jeb Start Drive, Wilson, Ark.

• Possession of methamphetamine – James Clark Allgood, 43, 10100 Road 109, Union.

• Expired tag – Henry L. Curry, 39, 155 A/C Thompson Road, Decatur. Curry is also charged with no driver’s license, no liability insurance, contempt of court.

• Child support/failure to pay – Maurice Kentrell Dean, 36, 2503 42nd Ave., Meridian.

• Failure to appear – Onterio Drake, 26, 2313 30th Ave., Meridian.

• No driver’s license – Derrick Deon Forbes, 33, 705 MLK, Meridian. Forbes is also charged with no license tag.

• DUI/first offense – Steve L. Gardner, 38, 11001 RD 4306, Collinsville. Gardner is also charged with careless driving.

• Failure to appear/four counts – Janie Marie Grady, 37, 910 39th Ave., Meridian.

• Rape-Statutory – Deontez Diquan Harris, 22, 410 39th Ave. N., Meridian. Harris is also charged with sexual battery, lustful touching of a child.

• Suspended driver’s license – Larinesha C. Holliday, 33, 190 Park Ave., DeKalb. Holliday is also charged with expired tag.

• Credit card-intent to defraud/two counts – Derrick A. Huffer, 32, 3458 Hwy. 11/80 E., Toomsuba.

• Contempt of court – Joseph William Humphrey, 52, 2454 Hwy. 496.

• False ID information – Richard Ryan Kell, 27, 6338 Graham Cemetery Road, Meridian. Kell is also charged with failure to appear.

• Suspended driver’s license – Amber Renee Miley, 43, 4107 Hickory Hills Circle, Meridian. Miley is also charged with wrong way on a one-way street.

• DUI/first offense – Donald Lee Reece, 44, 11521 Old Hwy. 80 W., Meridian. Reece is also charged with possession of paraphernalia, seat belt violation.

• DUI/first offense – Marco Sanchez Seals, 28, 107 71st Pl. 139, Meridian. Seals is also charged with careless driving, seat belt violation, no liability insurance.

• Petit larceny – Kenneth Franklin Singleton, 61, 909 N. Lakeland Drive, Meridian. Singleton is also charged with trespassing.

• Mississippi compulsory school attendance law – Valerie Smith, 19, 200 23rd St. B 183, Meridian.
