A pair of area coaches were selected to coach in the Mississippi Association of Coaches’ 2018 Crossroads Diamond Club D.M. Howie All-Star Baseball Games later this year.

Northeast Lauderdale baseball coach Josh Snider was selected as one of two coaches to lead the Classes 3-4A South Squad. Neshoba Central’s Justin Stovall was named as one of two coaches to head up the Classes 5-6A North team.

The All-Star games pit players from Classes 1-2A, Classes 3-4A and Classes 5-6A from the North and South divisions against each other and will be played Saturday, June 9, at Milton Wheeler Field on the campus of William Carey University in Hattiesburg. The 1-2A game will take place at 11 a.m., followed by the 3-4A game at 2 p.m. and the 5-6A game at 5 p.m.

Rosters for the North and South teams have not yet been announced.
