Meridian Police Department

The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday:

• Aggravated assault/two counts – Ronchavell R. Atterberry Jr., 19, 10273 East Telephone Road, Meridian. Atterberry is also charged with burglary/dwelling house.

• Shoplifting – Debbie Sullivan, born in 1960, 4373 Center Grove Road, Meridian. Sullivan is also charged with giving false info.

• Disorderly conduct – Willie Lloyd, born in 1977, 1616 8th Ave., Meridian. Lloyd is also charged with resisting arrest.

• Possession of marijuana – Trevon Merritt, born in 1992, 601 34th Ave., Meridian.

• Simple assault – Marcus Johnson, born in 1984, 5196 Charlie Dunn Road, Meridian.

• Trespassing/two counts – Ciera Falconer, born in 1991, 2201 15th Ave., Meridian.

• Begging – John Kelly, born in 1970, 401 59th Ave., Meridian.

• Simple assault – Telisha Bell, born in 1974, 89 Roberts Circle, Meridian.

• Shoplifting – Dexter Jennings, born in 1995, 1603 34th Ave., Meridian. Jennings is also charged with trespassing.

• Shoplifting – Anthony Evans, born in 1996, 1408 46th Ave., Meridian. Evans is also charged with trespassing.

• Shoplifting – Shabrialya Thedford, born in 1995, 5106 Eastgate Drive, Meridian.

Residential burglary

• 2300 block of 24th Ave. at 8:27 a.m.

• Meridian Police responded to 2 shots fired calls but when officers arrived on scene there was not any evidence found to support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Tuesday and 8:43 a.m. Wednesday.

• Possession of methamphetamine – Jeremy Dewayne Bady, 44, 3521 Hwy. 11/80, Toomsuba.

• Driving under the influence/first offense – Amy Lee Lake, 36, 402 Stokes Ave., York, Ala. Lake is also charged with disregard of traffic device.

• Felon in possession of a firearm – Alexander Levorn Ramsey, 37, 116 Legget Road, DeKalb.

• Possession of Methamphetamine – Kahari Cortez Shaquilla Scott, 24, 2623 46th Ave., Meridian. Scott is also charged with felon in possession of a firearm/three counts, possession of Alprazolam.
