Dance for Health’ planned at EMCC

SCOOBA — A Valentine’s Day/Mardis Gras themed “Dance for Health” is scheduled for Feb. 13 at the East Mississippi Community College Wellness Center.

Instructors from Elegance Ballroom in Meridian will teach two ballroom dances at the event in the F.R. Young Student Union Board Dining Room on the Scooba campus.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with the first dance lesson beginning at 6:30 p.m. The event runs until 8 p.m. The cost is $5 per person, and a partner is not required to participate. Dressy casual attire will be worn at the event that will also serve hors d’oeuvres.

The dance event is open to EMCC students, employees and the general public. Please RSVP, as space is limited to 70 participants only.
