Holy Remnant Church was birthed through God’s own vessel, Dr. Beverly J. Knox, on Nov. 6, 2005.

The vision of this non-denominational ministry is to reach, teach, and preach the gospel to a dying world; to introduce and restore joy that shall remain full through life application of the Word of God and an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.

Pastor Knox received her Doctorate of Ministry from Ebenezer Christian Seminary in Nov. 2016. In agreement with husband, Elder Leon Knox, the ministry started out in the home of the Knox family and in not many days to follow the Lord provided the current location. Pastor Knox is a native of Meridian and is a product of Meridian Public Schools. She received an Associates of Arts degree from Meridian Junior College and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern MS in Radio, Television, and Film.

After the Lord called her into ministry, the Pastor enrolled in Ebenezer Christian Seminary and received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Biblical Studies and doctorate of Ministry in Nov. 2016.

Dr. Knox and Elder Leon are blessed with a son, Cortney Leon, and a daughter, Lacey Joy. Cortney and wife, Keondria, are the proud parents of CaLea and Keonna Knox. Lacey is the proud parent of twin daughters, Courtney and Casey Cole.

With unspeakable joy, Dr. Knox proclaims her greatest accolade rests on the fact that she is a servant of the “Most High God.” She accepted the Lord’s call to the Ministry in Aug. 2000 and still considers it an honor and a privilege to serve the true and living God.
