The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Monday:

• Murder/capital – Christopher Dewayne Sanders, 27, 5319 5th St., Meridian. Sanders is also charged with attempted murder/three counts, armed robbery, possession of a weapon by felon/two counts.

• Contempt-child support/two counts – Damon S. Bodley, 2015 Bolsby Rd. H-3, Meridian.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Friday and 8:43 a.m. Monday.

• No driver’s license – Cardarrius Jamall Barfield, 23, 3701 Paulding St., Meridian.

• Contempt of court – Cortez Damon Barfield, 27, 3840 36th St., Meridian.

• Possession of methamphetamine – Ben Albert Chisolm, 30, 10472 Hwy. 495, Meridian.

• Driving under the influence/first offense – Poncy Dawon Davis, 35, 1810 26th Ave., Meridian. Davis is also charged with careless driving, no liability insurance, suspended driver’s license.

• DUI/first offense – Elio B. Dominquez Arevalos – 32, 3516 21st St., Meridian. Dominquez Arevalos is also charged with no driver’s license, careless driving, no liability insurance.

• Probation violation/parole -Robert Demetrius Fluker, 37, 1708 36th Ave., Meridian.

• DUI/first offense – Jay R. Griffith, 29, 3895 Causeyville Road, Meridian. Griffith is also charged with seat belt violation.

• DUI/first offense – Anthony Harper, 59, 3725 County Road 55, Thomasville, Ala. Harper is also charged with speeding.

• Disorderly conduct/failure to obey law enforcement officer – Grant Stephen Hartsfield, 38, 727 Owen Ave. D, Huntington Beach, Calif.

• Child support failure to pay/two counts – Brian Scott Haywood, 48, 4301 King Rd., Meridian.

• Careless driving – Mable McCarty, 49, 2905 Hwy 45N Lot A22, Meridian. McCarty is also charged with no driver’s license, no liability insurance.

• DUI/first offense – Donna Leah McCullough, 62, 60950 Mayatt Road, Collinsville.

• Accessory after the fact/five counts – Edward Earl Sanders, 28, 101 58th Ave. 7, Meridian.

• DUI/first offense – Jacobie Lee Sanders, 29, 604 Hwy. 11/80, Meridian. Sanders is also charged with careless driving.

• DUI/first offense – Carl Sanford Wells, 37, 1126 Aycock Road, Meridian.

• Contraband in a correctional facility – Kenchalla Shanya Woodard, 21, 7100 Old Hwy. 80 West, Meridian.
