The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Monday:

• Felon in possession of a firearm – John Keith Coleman Jr., 27, 5514 Blackmore Road, St. Francisville, La.

• Fleeing and eluding in a motor vehicle/two counts – Christopher Edwards, 31, 1220 48th Ave., Meridian.

• Embezzlement – Antonio Antwan Owens, 22, 3820 9th St., Meridian.

• Driving under the influence/first offense – Stanley Lamare Thompson, 36, 5991 C York Rd., Lauderdale. Thompson is also charged with driving with suspended license.

• Shoplifting – Rodriquez Smith, born in 1986, 297 South Sowashee.

• Simple assault domestic – Tracey Conney, born in 1994, 200 23rd St. Conney is also charged with simple assault.

• Simple assault threat – Dana Rayes, born in 1983, 2017 21st St. Rayes is also charged with discharging firearm in city.

• Simple assault – Joni Collins, born in 1994, 2803 Grandview Ave.

• Trespassing – Jariko Chaney, born in 1982, 1527 22nd Ave.

• Public drunk – Murphy Laneair, born in 1970, 200 N. Hills St.

• Driving under the influence – Roderickas Marsh, born in 1989, 1209 29th Ave. Marsh is also charged with no insurance, no driver’s license.

• Disturbance of a family – Charles Brown, born in 1989, 1605 30th Ave.

• Shoplifting – Johnny Reynolds, born in 1982, 10267 Morgan Road.

• Possession of marijuana – Adrian Johnson, born in 1988, 2200 28th Ave. Johnson is also charged with possession of paraphernalia.

• DUI other – Brandon Kerske, born in 1998, 14390 Hwy. 15 S. Kerske is also charged with possession of paraphernalia.

• Shooting in the city – LaJames Griffin, born in 1994, 2715 40th Ave. Griffin is also charged with possession of paraphernalia.

• Public drunk – Emil Castigmanie, born in 1984.

• Domestic violence – Louis Mesley, born in 1974, 2101 22nd Ave.

• Willful trespassing – Tunsyaan Stennis, born in 1979, homeless.

• Malicious mischief – Kashari Dubose, born in 1995, 10527 Woods Road.

• Shoplifting – Billy Jones, born in 1960, 3208 12th St.

• Simple assault/domestic – Johnta Fowler, born in 1975, 1723 16th St.

• Interfering with police investigation – Raymond Evans, born in 1962, 2107 41st Ave. Evans is also charged with no insurance, no driver’s license.

• 2700 block of 40th Ave. at 1:38 a.m.

• Meridian Police responded to 12 shots fired calls but when officers arrived on scene there was not any evidence found to support the calls.

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Wednesday and 8:43 a.m. Monday.

• No driver’s license – Robert Anderson, 24, 156 Mozeque St., Pickens.

• Driving under the influence/first offense – William Earl Atterberry III, 23, 107 71st Place 58A, Meridian. Atterberry is also charged with careless driving, seat belt violation/two counts.

• Malfunctioning wastewater disposal system – Christopher Lynn Broome, 38, 6741 Pine Springs Rd., Meridian.

• Contraband in a correctional facility – Timothy Louis Brown, 26, 1205 Strong Ave., Greenwood.

• DUI/first offense – Marvin Clifford Carrier, 41, 1015 Barthdale Circle, McComb. Carrier is also charged with disobeying traffic control device.

• Probation violation/parole – Howard Demetrice Colter, 42, 408 Park St., Louisville.

• DUI/first offense – Clint Cooper, 23, 4711 Blount Rd., Baton Rouge, La. Cooper is also charged with possession of Oxycodone, possession of Hydrocodone.

• No driver’s license – Borden Colton Dallas, 27, 334 CD 333, Sutherland Springs, Texas. Dallas is also charged with expired tag, no liability insurance.

• Driving with suspended driver’s license – Kristian Wayne Farmer, 20, 6311 Wynridge Drive, Meridian. Farmer is also charged with speeding.
