• The Meridian-Lauderdale County Public Library will be closed on Nov. 23, 24, 25, for Thanksgiving holidays.

• The Meridian Civitan Club is once again selling its old-fashioned world-famous Claxton fruitcakes. The fruitcakes remain priced at $4 per pound and are available for purchase at Meridian Mutual Federal Credit Union, 1st Mississippi Federal Credit Union, MUNA Federal Credit Union, Citizens National Bank, Great Southern Bank, First State Bank and Bankplus.
