Meridian Police Department
The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday:
• Possession of stolen firearm – Zocquiel Drane, born in 1999, 5119 B. Place.
• Uttering forgery – Michael Brewster, born in 1983, 1903 26th Ave.
• Petit larceny – Fred Porter Jr., born in 1995, 3628 24th St.
• Disorderly conduct – Horatio Gordon, born in 1996, 1626 26th Ave. Gordon is also charged with fighting in public.
• Fighting in public – Abraham Portis, born in 1971, 3146 A East Cook Road.

The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Tuesday to Wednesday:
Robbery
• 8th St. 12:15 a.m.
Shootings
• 2000 block of Mosby Road at 10:53 p.m.
• Meridian Police responded to 8 shots fired calls but when officers arrived on scene there was not any evidence found to support the calls.
Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department
The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Tuesday and 8:43 a.m. Wednesday.
• Probation violation/parole – Audrey Media’ Hill, 37, 6325 County Road 320, Enterprise.
• Simple assault – Taylor Keith Hoffer, Jr., 21, 12047 Nutt Road, Collinsville. Hoffer is also charged with malicious mischief/vandalism, petit larceny.
• Trespassing/willful – Johnny Moseley, 50, 60 County Road 317, Rose Hill.
• Contempt of court – Christopher John Ramsey, 27, 902 Fulton Ave., Meridian.
