Meridian Police Department

The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday:

• Driving under the influence – Clifton Gowdy, born in 1972, 2110 20th St. Gowdy is also charged with no insurance, no driver’s license, failure to yield to blue light, noise ordinance.

• Public drunk – Jecory Hudson, born in 1994, 1209 6th St. Hudson is also charged with public profanity.

• DUI – Randall McKee, born in 1996, 92 McKee Rd. McKee is also charged with no insurance, expired tag.

• Possession of marijuana – Javarius Jones, born in 1991, 506 Front St. Jones is also charged with no insurance, suspended driver’s license, noise ordinance.

• Leaving the scene of an accident – Rebecca Kyzar, born in 1959,

• Public drunk – Alan Gaston, born in 1981, homeless.

Commercial burglary

• 1900 block of C St. at 3:36 p.m.

• 100 block of 23rd St. at 5:02 p.m.

Auto burglary

• 1300 block of 22nd Ave. at 9:11 a.m.

Residential burglary

• 1400 block of 16th St. at 7:49 p.m.

• Meridian Police responded to 0 shots fired calls but when officers arrived on scene there was not any evidence found to support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Tuesday and 8:43 a.m. Wednesday.

• Probation violation/parole – Stacy Jermaine Gavin, 41, 4221 Terry St., Meridian.

• Probation violation/parole – Christopher Brian Graham, 37, 1630 Skyline Dr., Meridian.

• Suspended driver’s license – Seridina Rew, 23, 107 71st Place, Meridian. Rew is also charged with no license tag.

• Possession of paraphernalia – Carol Davis Rolison, 47, 2704 Valley Road, Lot 32, Meridian.
